Certainly a work in progress. If nothing else it's good to get everyone's feet wet (both producers and audience) before the NYAF. That'll for sure be the first big test of this show.

The best piece of advice right now is to not judge this on the first episode.

Good luck to all involved.

I liked it. I think over time the production values will start to shine a bit more. I'm looking forward to next weeks show.

Totaly awsome! Try to get rid of the BG noise of the voice, and the quality will most defently improove. Other than that, I thought that this is totaly awsome! If you guys could, try to get it at least 10 mins.

It certainly is, and thanks for your patience.

It's a practice run that may or may not have been worth sharing, but yes, the idea was to get as many kinks out as possible before before NYAF.

As we're not a full news organization in the "CNN" or "AP" sense, there will be limits to our ability to have cameras in certain places, but hopefully we can still be entertaining and informative. Smile

A solid openning volly, which promises better things to come. Most of the news I'd already heard about, but I missed the Van Von Hunter adaption. (I liked that series so it makes me happy. Hopefully Tokyopop knows enough to avoid Uwe Boll.)

I loved the openning. That was good crazy fun.

As time goes on, will we be seeing regular commercials in the episodes? Anime trailers or non-anime stuff?

Let's get the bad out of the way so I can finish on a high note.

The moving background was a little distracting for me. I found I was trying to read the spinning rings throughout the show.

Please get your hands out from behind your back. It looks as if they are reading the news in handcuffs.

If the show is to become a podcast, it needs to be longer. There's little sense in downloading it onto an iPod if it's as short as today's show. I'm sure interviews, reviews, and editorials are incoming. Answerman would be hilarious as a podcast.

I'm very excited about live convention coverage. I live in Jersey and I've never been to any of the NY anime conventions. I'm interested in seeing what they're like as opposed to AnimeNext or Otakon.

This first show was an excellent start and I'm looking forward to next week.

This is definitely an exciting new feature, I'm really looking forward to more! Only thing I found bothersome was the background, moving letters are quite distracting. Good job overall though, can't wait for the next one.

Better than I expected. While it still clearly needs work, it looks like a pretty good start for a first episode. I'll certainly be checking the next one.

I really like this idea. If I had to pick something out it would be the previously mentioned hands. Have you considered a news desk or just have them sit on a tall chair, at least then they could fold there hands on the lap or if your correspondents can use hand gestures to emphasize what they are saying. Overall not bad, the news was well written, and the correspondents seemed to know what they were doing. The background images did not bother me ,but they could be a bit more colorful ( just a bit to dark imo). I actually think the time is about right, (I would not mind it to be longer) as the average attention span is so short it seems about right . On the bump for Protoculture Addicts, it may be a good idea to have some audio with that. Hey maybe a word from Cris, or if not then some music imo.

Good Job overall Very Happy

As was said before, this was done really well for a first episode. I'm looking forward to seeing what you guys have in store.

And now, for some CONSTRUCTIVE criticism:
I know that copyright issues may come into play for a lot of this, but when showing music video clips, it could be good to have a short audio clip too, so we get to know a bit of the music. And there were many times I felt that the camera sustained a shot or angle for just a bit too long.

Otherwise, good job. I will be looking forward to this segment.

Personally not my thing. But it was pretty intresting. Maybe if they had desk or something to sit behinnd?

Moving bg was a bit much.

The only question I have is that is this going to be shown only on ANN? Is there anywhere esle this might be seen? I ask because it seems like if we have the events to read on the site- why do ya need the news?

Otherwise it was ok. I wish this project the best of luck.

That was great!

It is so exciting to see ANN developping more the video production aspect.

I can't wait to have the podcast version.

My only comment would be that sometimes the hosts talked a little too fast and that they would need to work a little on their diction.

However, it is a good start.

Congratulation!

Is it true that Mario Bueno's eyebrows are actually computer generated?
