So it looks like Lillie is back. Will it be telling the same story with embellishments, or will Lillie return to Alola? It'd be odd if it's the same story, since Game Freak doesn't really do this with Pokémon games until they're remade a few generations later.

Emerald and Platinum were the same way.

Oh yeah, I forgot about those...it's that Emerald and Platinum introduced new characters like Scott and Looker that I had forgotten they told the same story. (Looker in particular because he's been a staple of the series since.)

Check out the previous trailers. While it is similar to Emerald and Platinum in theory, it is still quite different. Especially the story.

With Mewtwo returning in Ultra Sun and Moon, I wouldn't put past the possibility that other Legendary Pokémon (excluding Mythicals) could be returning via Ultra Wormhole.

All right, thanks. I only really watched the trailers that show the new game mechanics, as that's what hypes me more.

Some promotional stuff in Japan may have spilled the beans on what other legends appear.

Probably. Since there would be too many Legendary Pokémon not native from Alola that should deserve PokéDex entires. Because I highly doubt that Mewtwo and the other leaked Legendaries will be part of the AlolaDex.
