lol my friend literally just texted me the link to this 10 minutes ago and then I see this article.
If this was the OP to a real anime i'm pretty sure people would be pissed because it's so spoiler heavy.

I subbed immediately after watching this. His animations are so impressive. Watching this reminded me of the good ol' Newgrounds days.

When the song played, i immediately recognized it was "Colors of the Heart" by UVERworld, the 3rd Opening theme song for the Blood+ anime.

And I'm surprised ANN is promoting a video that contains pirated music. And I'm pretty sure some of the animation was plagiarized as well.

I know it's a little thing but hearing that Blood+ OP just made this twice as better for me. Anyways, very funny couldn't stop laughing especially on the Patrick scenes.

The animation qualifies as parody any way you slice it. Plagiarism is a huge claim that shouldn't be thrown around to describe entirely original animation that jokingly mimics choreography from another work with entirely different characters. This looks nothing like Bleach; it isn't traced and recolored animation.

The music usage could become a problem for them, though, just like any other anime music video.

So basically, Sandy and Patrick join the Krusty Krab, Squidward gets brainwashed into joining Plankton and gets it on with SpongeBob, then he kills Sandy and Patrick, causing SpongeBob to try and save him... it may be Bleach-inspired, but this sounds a lot more like Naruto.

@octopodpie: while this is a parody in the literary sense (making fun of a particular work whereas spoof is making fun of a particular genre), whether or not this a parody in the legal sense is another story.
