Why doesn't twitter's media player have freaking volume controls? Crazy loud. Also is there a US mirror for that PV? Not working for US resident.

Happy to see so many supporters standing in those long lines for Macross Delta. Hope we will soon hear there will be English subs on the DVD sets so we can get around that golden barrier.
Though personally, I still love Macross Frontier more. I feel the music of May'n and Megumi is far better than Walkure's. (No offense to the Walkure fans). But Delta is growing on me, especially since they moved away from the AKB anime style of Episode 1 and back to the Macross style. The dogfights in the last couple of episodes was nicely done, my favorite parts. Especially how they give the HUD that 3D feel in a 2D environment. |

I went to rewatch the original for Delta starting. If anything my complaint is they didn't do enough of a new thing with Delta's music. So far there's only one song I adore (Ikenai Borderline), which is nice, but a lot of the other tunes feel somewhat underwhelming. While I do like other idol songs on my own, Macross had a history of mixing things up. Between the original, Plus, 7, and Frontier, none of them sound entirely alike. the mecha action has never been interesting since CG was introduced.
So while the music is nice, I can't help but hope Delta can do its own thing with it that'll make it its own Macross and not Frontier Part 2. |

We already know there will be : animenewsnetwork.com/daily-briefs/2016-04-04/macross-delta-anime-1st-blu-ray-dvd-listed-with-english-subtitles/.100634 Despite the price, hope many foreigner fans will order it. For both showing Big West the western interest on Macross (even if Kawamori already knows it) and bothering Harmony Gold. |

I would say that HG is well aware of people wanting more Macross here legally but they simply don't care for whatever reason. On the flip side, the original series will eventually become public domain here and in Japan.

I think not only is the music different from Frontier's, the show is also very much not Frontier Part 2. (If anything it has more in common with Macross 7 than with Frontier.) |

Nice!
So far, I'm addicted af to Ikenai Borderline xD Question: ¿Were two winners? I really thought that there was only one and took Freyja's role. Hahaha |

I thought Ikenai Borderline was the better song as well. Feels like it's sung with more passion than the others. But to each their own. |

Oh they care, only for their property in turning a Japanese series into their own and making millions, just like Saban did with Power Rangers. That way they don't share the profit with the original creators. Hopefully, the creators will contest the Robotech movie right before it's released and turn it into a hail-mary pass! |

There was only one winner and it was indeed Minori Suzuki, the girl who's voicing Freyja. JUNNA, who's singing for Mikumo, seems to be getting more attention because of how incredibly young she is (apparently she recorded Ikenai Borderline last year, when she was 14) |
