So with DRRR finishing up, I wonder if they will try to finish up a complete adaption of Natsume's. Regardless, a season 5 is well welcomed.

The manga is still ongoing, so unless they finish both at roughly the same time, I imagine Season 5 will end like the previous seasons. |

Yeah, I keep up with the manga but what I meant more or less was whether this will be a one off thing or if they are having backstage plans to do an eventual season 6 or split cours till it does finish. |

Wow! I already felt blessed with four seasons, apparently it's doing well enough to warrant a FIFTH season. I mean, have you EVER heard of an anime series getting a fifth season greenlit?! The only one I can think of is Bakemonogatari, though I'm not sure if they're all real sequels since I couldn't get past the first episodes of the first season.
I can never get enough of Nyanko-sensei's antics and some heartfelt Natsume-drama. |

That is because every season of Natsume has managed to average above 10k each...it is very very rare to have a series to span over 4 seasons and still make above 10k in sales..so yeah it is not that suprising ti see it have more. |

This is one of my two most favorite anime of all time, I rewatch a ton of random episodes throughout the series like twice a year. This is so fantastic! |

This show has the most loyal fanbase ever. Even a 6th and 7th season seem realistic. There have been shows that have sold a ton more but they usually drop in sales big time over the years, but this stays right at that 10k mark.
