Quote: | The "BLAV" genre (Boys' Love Adult Video) has parodied other anime before |
It is probably worth mentioning, albeit to little gain, that 'Blav' would be a fitting name for an aggressive drunkard one might see in a dingy public house.

KaraIchi is practically an entire half of Pixiv recently, so this is not surprising.
I'm wondering why it's specifically that pairing, but I really don't want to sit through enough of the show to find out.

Interesting, it's not for me though but a lot of women will buy that for sure. I didn't expect ANN to report on it though.

What confuses me, though is... I thought fujoshi liked anime where the guys were pretty. Is that what "pretty" means nowadays?
Or are those voice actors enough?
... If I watched the show, hearing them do a reaction video would be funny.
. . . knowing that show, watch them reference this. That's still not enough to make me want to sit through it, but I'll enjoy reading about it on here.

Well, it was only a matter of time really. Tons of things get porn parodies. Osomatsu is popular with a strong fujoshi following, so there ya go.

I think the VAs are a huge draw. It's at least what got people's attention (in Japan) prior to the first episode. Not a knock against it, either--the show thrives with that talent. Beyond that, it's the character interaction. There's some short conversation about this on the New Year's special commentary track, though it's more about female fans in general.
The series has bishounen variants that pop up from time to time, too, and these parody a lot of otome game/BL/reverse harem/female-oriented stuff. However--with the caveat that I don't follow Osomatsu's fujoshi fanbase--the fanart I have seen almost always uses the 'usual' look.

Don't underestimate the power of fan girls- we can make anything attractive
I definitely give credit for this happening to both the characters themselves for being entertaining, and all the great art of the series on Pixiv.
On Pixiv the Matsubros, when not drawn in their default forms, are most often draw in more standard anime styles. Not their F6 Idol looks, but what their original looks would like if the show was a "normal" anime. And I have to say, they're pretty damn attractive, nasty personalities not withstanding.

That just drives the fujoshi even crazier.

Are you new to anime? Because in a fandom where incest is a crazy-popular trope this shouldn't be surprising.
Fujos have been drawing brothers gettin' it on probably before siscon became popular amongst male otaku.

Can we just have an episode of anime, where brothers react to this?

It seems that Ichimatsu and Karamatsu want to take their love for one another to a new, perhaps eccentric, level. I wonder what awaits them in this risque venture?
