I probably shouldn't be, given Xbox One's pre-launch gaffs and it being a new PS console, but I have been very surprised at the numbers that the PS4 has pulled in thus far. Obviously, it was going to move a good amount of units, but 35.9 million?! And that's "sold", not "shipped"! "Highly impressive" might not suffice…
That said, I'm holding out until they release a PS4 with 4k/Ultra HD BD support. Beyond redownloading DOA5LR onto it and partaking of its next-gen-exclusive content, there aren't any games that I am interested in on it right now, either. I have been more than content with my PS3 and besides bumped-up graphics and power (with a lesser gulf than the transition from PS2 to 3), there isn't anything that the new one does that I either can't already do on the old one or are interested in using, feature-wise, on the new one. Since I primarily got the PS3 for BD 1st, streaming 2nd (initially a distant one because of so few services, but I bought it right before the market exploded), games as a nice bonus, it would feel redundant to get a PS4 if it can't doing something different like 4k/Ultra HD BD, or something more drastic.
