Her plight is unfortunate, but I can't help but laugh at the fact that she was Agiri in Kill Me Baby.
You really can't make this up

Judging by her credits, her career was already over. Her latest VA role is a two year old OVA sequel to a four year old anime. Really the question is, did she have problems that prevented her from getting work, or did the lack of work cause her drug problems. |

She had no career lol. Last "major" role she had was almost 4 years ago which was KMB, and that show bombed in Japan. Barely active before that too. |

She was active mostly as a live-action actress, although she separated from Oscar Promotion a while back before this announcement, supposedly because of this? I don't know. So VA'ing wasn't her main gig, but her complete acting career will probably be ruined because of this. I smoke pot from time to time to relax, don't drink though. Ain't a big deal here in California anymore anyways.

The thing is, in Japan, even if it had been only weed, it still would ruin her, because they're way too uptight about drugs. Even moreso than in the US. Hell, some of our biggest celebrities are full-on addicts and we treat it as just a quirk.

In the end, sad to see someone ruin their life like this. Going to be tough going forward, especially if she is found guilty and has a record to deal with.
I get people making bad decisions. But, now she has to pay for those. |
