This actually looks like the sort of thing that kids in North America might go out to watch and enjoy and that parents will tolerate. Probably won't be the next Minions though.

Eh, I think its animation might hurt it. It's not bad per se, but compared to what usually hits theaters--Disney/Pixar/Dreamworks stuff--it falls flat. If it advertises enough it might bring in an okay audience, but spending that cash in this situation might not be worth it.

leafy: I'm only going by the clips I've seen of the old show, but it seems a tad on the traumatic side...At least by our standards.

So I'm assuming that Marvel is involved with this release?
The heading mentions it for release but I feel that after reading the article twice I missed something.

If you're talking about Avi Arad, he's a general producer of things. He's in charge of a lot of Marvel film and TV adaptations because he's a higher-up there, but he doesn't work directly and exclusively for Marvel.
