Lot of guns in the previews. Looks like everyone has a 9mm as a sidearm.

The source manga series is not finished so far.
Do authors plan to conclude this by second film (to be released 1.5 months after the first one) with "original ending", or they plan to add more films later to follow the manga?

Japanese films are pretty much written by a committee of the casting agencies involved, without any regard for whatever material on which the movie may have been based originally. This movie looks to be no different.
As much as some people like to trash American film adaptations, the Japanese process virtually guarantees any adaptation bears only superficial resemblance to the original material. (The recent Parasyte films may be the once-in-a-century exception.)

Okay, I'm not trying to be racist here or anything, but in the Attack on Titan manga, Mikasa is one of the few "Orientals" still living during the time of Attack on Titan. From the anime theme and the names of some characters, one can assume much of those who live in the AoT world are predominantly of European and American descent. So then, since "Orientals" are supposedly scarce within the AoT world, why is the whole cast for the AoT movie completely comprised of Asians? Wouldn't it make more sense to outsource and get actors from across the world? Heck, the native language for the movie could be German or something. I'd just think with how huge of a franchise AoT has become, they could go the extra mile to make it as close to the source material as possible.
This is not to say I doubt the acting abilities of those chosen, I truly don't. I'm just concerned that the film won't have as much of an effect on the intended audience as the manga and anime have.

Thanks; unless the committee will make insultingly stupid, tacky plot to move the story forward, I can live with that. Lets see what they will do.
