Entire in 1st person? I doubt I'm in the target demographic and that sounds pretty interesting. If it looks cheap though, I suspect the technique will wind up accidentally emphasizing that aspect. Here's hoping it doesn't.

Based on the studio's, Earth Star Entertainment, past works, I think we can assume it'll be a short-form anime. With that in mind, the premise of having a 1st person narrative for the entire episode might work.
