When the English dub happens for this show (and I know it will happen), I hope they don't call Yuichiro repeatedly as "Yu" like is done in the manga and its official translation. That's going to be so very confusing.
They've also toned down Mitsuba's chest considerably. Her appearance in the manga makes me feel uncomfortable, as she looks like a tween with a huge rack.

It looks like an interesting premise. I'll be keeping my eyes out for this one.

I agree there will most likely be a dub too, or more importantly it better be released internationally on DVD/BD when it's completed its broadcast! It looks like one to add to the collection, Studio Wit will be a stronger force on my shelf alongside AoT then.

Yet, her entry on the series' wiki say that she's 16.

Allll right, I'm going to devote myself into fighting formidable awful English in these Spotlights by productively whining about it every single time it appears.
But seriously, is it too much to ask for a professional-quality translation from professional promotional material on a professional site? I can't be the only person actively turned off by phrases like, "her origin is Hiragi Family who takes control of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army," or "Yuichiro who is been used by humans," or, ye gods, "has a sister ill in bed, and enlisted in the army in order to undergo the treatment," which actually manages to inform us that Shiho is the one undergoing the treatment and his "ill in bed" sister is completely irrelevant...

This looks so far as the new series to watch. I hope it is good. And what's with all the psychics assuring that there will be a dub for this anime?

I am certain this will get a dub because we're right in the midst of a broadcast dub trend and, thanks to the manga being in Viz's Shonen Jump, Seraph of the End has become decently popular in English.

Yeah, I know she's not a tween--she just looks like one because of the art style in the manga. (Then again, characters like Guren are not much older than she is but is a whole head taller.)

The character designs look good, with the green being incorporated quite nicely onto them.

I agree that they're awful (I actually rarely read them anymore, because somehow you come out knowing less about the show than when you started) but I was always under the impression that the Japanese companies provide them to ANN, and they're posted unedited out of respect.
The character designs for this show are pretty! I don't know anything else about it but pretty has sold me on shows before.

While I must admit the premise has me intrigued - been a while since I've seen a good vampire show - I do grow worried. None of the characters really jump out at me, creatively or aesthetically. And, unfortunately, our MC gives me very strong vibes of Kirito. The less said about that, the better.
