Here is a typo.
I wonder what is going to happen with the sequel. Rest in peace, Tatsumi Yoshihiro.

Oh no! Really sad to hear this. A Drifting Life is one of the best manga I ever read. Tatsumi will be sorely missed.
I really am wondering about that follow up to ADL, I hope it gets released at some point.

That's a damn shame. A Drifting Life was quite the interesting read, and I enjoyed Push Man, Abandon In Old Tokyo, and Goodbye all to varying degrees (Goodbye was my favorite of the three). I was also really impressed by Fallen Words, I like it just as much if not more than his 70's works. I think Black Blizzard's the only work of his published in North America that I haven't read yet, I should probably get to that.
I was lucky enough to have all of his works available via my local library, but I probably wouldn't mind owning some of them. RIP.

This is really upsetting, this guy was a brilliant visionary and will be missed.
I'm glad that he finally got some of the attention he deserved overseas before he went.

I guess you could call the death of many pioneering manga-ka as being the fall of many Titans.

I think the one of the things he understood the best was that he had his day.
Tatsumi for me, still has some of the most affecting stories I've ever come across and as a storyteller, he was brilliant. He helped show manga could be serious and I hope his work will be remembered.

Was just writing a paper for class on Abandon the Old. Wow. The timing.
I hope he lived a happy, full life, and that his family will find peace.

Wow. He'll be missed. I read 'Drifting Life' and there was so much in that book about his life and the social-political effects of that era. He was a great man. R.I.P. You were a legend and inspired many through the years.
