Hurry and get this beautiful biatch to BD so I can SHELVE IT!
I'm thinking about making a shelf dedicated to only Type-Moon works with Nendoroid scattered about. Their anime boxes are always so elaborate.

I figured Aniplex's USA division would have their hands on it for us, but it's still reassuring, not to mention awesome, to get an official confirmation for it. Very much looking forward to seeing how this version of the story better matches up with Fate/Zero (which I've assumed was the general purpose of it), already looking forward to the future blu-rays before this show airs, and even though this is getting way ahead of ourselves, here's hoping we'll have a future return of the prequel series's English cast. Is it easy to tell I'm excited for this?

Regarding the usual complaint about Aniplex USA pricings: FSN fans may feel they will figuratively die if there wallets are killed of money.

A higher budget adaptation that properly follows the game. The DEEN anime messed a lot of shit up, but not as bad as the Tsukihime anime [that never happened]. I expect a more constant tone and better pacing here.

I would also assume to better match up where Fate/Zero left off.
Also, people can say the Tsukihime anime never happened as many times as they want (seriously, this has been going on for too long), doesn't change the fact that it has happened, and while I can understand some of the criticisms I think it's still over-bashed and underrated.

Yeah, hopefully it's good.
Yeah, the dub did a good job in Fate Zero. I guess we'll probably have to wait for them to do a import BD release first though...

In the case of Aniplex USA and Type-Moon/Ufotable, I can at least die happy... figuratively and physically, knowing that, if it becomes official for Aniplex USA to distribute F/SN, it will be given the high-quality treatment just like F/Z went through. Don't care if I have to save/waste $300+ for these, I want the upcoming American Blu-rays of this show to be as perfect as the American blu-rays of F/Z. Getting. F*cking. Hype. ... and soon regret overspending, but for now, TAKE ALL MY MONIES.

It seems like this might be geared more as a sequel to F/Z than F/Z being the prequel to this. Just my guess.
Also, as for Tsukihime, I think it didn't catch as much with Type-Moon fans is because it didn't meet the expectations of those who played the VN (e.g. different animation style), which maybe the reason for the harsh criticism.

I am going to see this. It's not the best series but it is still enjoyable and Zero really upped the quality. Unfortunately we don't have gen writing this script though because I would like to see where he would go with it (ideally if he were given free reign). But it looks pretty so okay I'll watch it. After seeing these trailers I want to watch the other fate incarnations again.
I'm also not too familiar with the original games, but is there a path that has not been animated yet? Or is it just what we saw and blade works?
And I really want a reasonably priced garden of sinners still (cries)

This looks very interesting. I'll probably watch this, but I still need to see Fate/Zero. For the dub, I expect to see the Fate/Zero cast return. Aniplex picking this up was so surprise. Regardless if you support their current business model or not, this is what we're getting, and at least their products are usually well-done. Also, they're giving us more dubs and I have a strong feeling that, in time, they will improve as much as they can. But as it stands, you either buy their stuff or not. It's all your choice, vote with your dollar. That's really all we can do, and since that is the case, it's silly to complain, it really is.

As the longer trailer consists mostly of F/Z clips, the subs weren't all that necessary to grasp what's being said if you watched the prequel, but, hey, I'm ready and willing to get hyped once again. So very much looking forward to this one.

I can't wait for this. I loved the first series (it's one of my all-time favourites) so I have no doubt that I'll love this as well.
And I think that I'll start saving up for a future BD release right now...
