I have a feeling we're going to get something quite different out of this. Or this series will make us hate amusement parks. Laughing

I only read the first two chapters of the manga (not LN) and I'm not sure how I feel about it tbh. Will wait for a PV to see more impressions.

Same as Stark, read the first two chapters of the manga. Wasn't that impressed but I'll give the anime a try.

This REEEEALLY doesn't look like the kind of thing I'd jump onto, and I was perfectly willing to say Kyoani just stopped trying, but since Gotoh wrote it there may be some worth with this...maybe...

I really don't know what to expect, but I like the majority of KyoAni's stuff, so I'll watch it. Nice to see more official art!

From what I've read, Amagi Brilliant Park is going to surprise a lot of people.
Autumn can't come soon enough.

I don't care about the girls, I want that image as a DVD cover/poster. Obviously someone's a fan of Ray Bradbury.

The colors, the mood, the shadow, nothing is more depressing than a dilapidated closed, borderline out of business amusement park. The death of fun...

This has my imagination fired up, has to be better than Tomoko Market or Beyond the Boundary - wait, Tomoko Market was better than Beyond the Boundary- so it better be more interesting than a fat talking bird.

Damn it kyoani, I want more Hyouka. I was thinking I'd skip this until I saw that it's the same director, so I'll give it a try.
It didn't look very amusing and I don't like comedy anime, but I'll give it a fair try.

Uhhh, they pretty much exhausted most of the novel's material so I really doubt we'll be hearing more of that in the future.

Sadly, you're right. But there is some more material they could work with. So perhaps a few specials or a movie. Granted, I haven't read the original material, so I don't know how it would work.

No, I know nothing about the source material (not much of a pirated scanlations reader myself), but the premise does not sound appealing to me. I will give the anime a try if it is legally streamed. And I hope it is at least decent for the sake of Kyoto Animation; they need a big hit (Free! sold great, but it does not feel like a hit to me).

Yeah, how could a series that's in the top five sellers of one of Japan's most popular studios possibly be a hit? Clearly we should all stake our hopes on a series that is extremely unlikely to match those numbers, but is lacking the icky girl cooties that Free carries.

I look forward to this, but would rather see more seasons of FMP!
