Can't wait to get my hands on Railgun S!
They didn't say they got BD rights of that, right? |

So, Adult Swim will continue to simuldub Space Dandy in July? I love how that's almost like a footnote in the article.

That Red Data Girl english cast is another copy and paste casting job from Funimation outside of the new female lead.

I haven't heard Chris Burnett in a dub for a while, so I don't know what the hell you mean by "copy and paste". |

That is incorrect. That episode will be bundled (as the article linked stated) with the Official Visual Book, not the Japanese Blu-ray release.
The announcement on their blog says:
So still no BD it seems... |

I am honestly shocked that it is getting a dub at all. I mean, I guess FUni dubs most (all?) of their stuff, but I didn't think RDG was really that popular. |

Why the hell are they dubbing Red Data Girl? Not only is it bad, but the plot is heavily based around Japanese mysticism, so I don't think it even has any chance of appealing to Western audiences.

More hybrid releases coming my way. Can't wait to start buying anime again (it's been a while for me).
Also can't wait to stream the movie to A Certain Magical Index on Funimation when they finally add it. I'm holding off watching it elsewhere for free just so I can see it there, and probably subsequently purchase whatever disc edition they release. That also goes for season two of index. |

I would assume the streaming numbers for it were good. |

Yea, I'm just as surprised. I generally drop shows very quickly, but I gave this a try and gave up at around episodes 9 or 11. I guess I wanted it to be good, but it was so boring and awful. The OST is nice though. |

I'm also on the boat of why RDG was licensed. It was so convoluted and apparently didn't even have the real ending when it was so close to it.

Even though I wouldn't buy RDG, it still deserves a BD release for PA Works' efforts in making parts of it stunningly gorgeous.

Wait what about Index 2? Has that already been announced for release and I just missed it, or I think releasing Railgun 2 first.
