I think we should all give a moment's pause and thanks to the late Yamaguchi-san for his wise decision.

HUH????? Buff??? If he's cute then he's gotta be a cute plumped up electric mouse. Makes him juicier, not tough and stringy. But this is pretty funny.

Imagining Pikachu being buff is definitely going to give me nightmares tonight...

I sure am glad Pikachu is cute, rather than buff Wink.

Glad Pikachu remained cute.

The franchise has its place for both the cuter pokemon and the beefy/fiercer looking pokemon.

I couldn't imagine the mascot being anything else.

They probably wanted the next Kirby, but they ended up getting something bigger.

Thank goodness "Buffed Pikachu" never came to fruition.
I could never imagine the yellow Electric Pokemon as anything else than a cute little mouse.

The funny thing that buff can mean naked as well. But hell he is isn't he. Fat, juicy and in the buff. I guess I said too much.

This should be molded in bronze and polished into a brilliant shine, then quoted to any and every studio that wants to do a manga to anime, or live action adapation.
