Doesn't work for me...
I live in Germany, maybe this is not supported for some reason? I downloaded everything, installed it, it said "installed succesfully" or something like that...but when I use the App "Maps" by Google, I still get german instructions.
Any ideas? Does it maybe only work for Japanese street data?

While I like Miku in other things, I wouldn't trust her for directions.
I'd still rather have that Knight Rider GPS.

Rin-chan now! Rin-chan now! RinchanRinchanRinchan now!
"If I had a GPS, I would totally want Rin giving me directions everywhere, and maybe she'd give a wrong turn where I'd end up finding a cute little out of the way coffee shop where we would run into each other by accident, and I would pretend to blush and say, 'Oh, what a coincidence!'"...

That's what I said. I don't know why Rin seems to be one of the less popular Vocaloids.

I have no idea who that is, but I downloaded the app and in the downloads list for available voice data there is one called "Rin-chan Navi" (technically its in hiragana).
Also, while this works on a US phone... totally in Japanese. Not sure if I will actually use it since around half the time I open up navigation on my phone, I'm not the one driving and as none of my friends speak Japanese...

Next they'll develop a robotic arm that slaps you with a leek when you take the wrong turn.
