Oculus Rift (VR gear) is not all about porn. Here is an interesting youtube link of a game demo. It is safe, except for maybe some swearing.

There's another video out there where the player is standing and, uh, using his pelvis to control action in the game.

True, but porn, in coupling the physical with the visual, may be it's most innovative use! Laughing
And unlike most mainstream companies like Google, Oculus VR is not afraid of sex. They are collaborating with Tenga on this after all.

We actually got to use the Oculus Rift headgear at the big Intel booth in the Comic Con. It was 360° capability:



And we also had that white spherical controller - gives ya force-feedback and resistance. So when you fire a gun, you get a recoil.

And as mentioned here, there's already an Oculus for sleeping with Hatsune Miku:

ResMed should collaborate with Oculus to bring this technology to CPAP machines. I mean, I already have to sleep with annoying, uncomfortable headgear on, Miku visuals would make it more tolerable.
