You know, I'd rather they adapt VG Cats' Super Effective instead. That would have been a trip.

Course, I'd be even more surprised if Scott updated regularly.

Chance in hell it'll be subbed.

I'm gonna assume dub.

If it was subbed, they wouldn't wait a whole month to stream it.

What are they planning on doing about the fact that Blue is wearing green?

If they dubbed those silly shorts where Pikachu talked, I'm sure they'll dub this. Also, they DO dub the episodes before they air in Japan now, so don't assume it's Japanese airdate is the beginning of that window.

Also, when was the last or even the FIRST time anything Pokemon-related has ever been (officially) released here subbed?

As someone that has been into the Pokemon franchise since Red and Blue, I'll be looking into this two-hour special.
It'll be interesting to see how Red will fare in his first Gym Battle with Brock...

The biggest news out of this article for me at least is that there's actually a legal website that streams pokemon episodes.

Yeah, and with Charmander. It's like suicide.

They brought out an App months ago where you could watch dubbed anime eps on your phone, ipad and whatnot (Though only a selection which changes every week).

If it's subtitled, it's going to be interesting, since many Pokémon have different names in Japanese. I guess they'll just substitute them.

Imma say dubbed. Subbed would mean they'd have to acknowledge the show and characters are Japanese Laughing

Charmander can learn Metal Claw pretty early on, which is super effective against Rock types.

Not in my day. -_- The metal element didn't exist until generation 2. Meaning those of us who played the original Red and Blue had little chance of beating Takeshi's Onix...
