There are censors built into the forum that are supposed to change every F-Bomb into [expletive], right? I've noticed that sometimes it doesn't work, and I'm wondering if the specific word is only censored when “-ing” is added onto the end, since one user's cursing somehow made it past the censors in this thread. (Not that I really care about cursing or that I’m offended by it or anything, I’m just curious.)

There are multiple easy ways to bypass phpBB censors, most of which involve BBCode manipulation.
Not that I'm going to describe or demonstrate any because I don't feel like giving anyone who didn't know how to do it beforehand any ideas. |

That's an odd case, though I have seen instances where the word is censored out with the -ing added to the end.

I quoted someone's post once and they had bypassed the censor by adding in some bbcode in the middle of the word. Might be best to block combonations like that as well.
