Okay, someone tell me why the blue hell it keeps skipping at ep 16, "Another Chance". (And I haven't had the DVD player for hours on end; if it matters, I'm using my PS2.)
(And I DID use the search feature, but am now too lazy to dig through a couple thousand threads.) |

I watched that volume last night and I remember an episode skipping during the intro and the first minute or so, but then played fine. I thought my cpu was just multi-tasking so it skipped. But I guess I was wrong.
Was it at the beginning of the episode or through out the whole thing? |

So far, it was just through the beginning of the ep. I once tried playing just that one ep one day and it played fine. Maybe it's a defective DVD or something. |

The first time I tried the DVD, the main menu had trouble as well. Only the audio played and I couldn't see anything, then I clicked the screen and I guess I clicked the extras menu but still it was all sound and no video. I restarted my cpu and the 2nd time it worked fine.
I wonder if that stuff just happened to us two though since no one else is posting. |

What version of the GITS are you playing? DTS? I never had any issues with those disc, haven't really had a chance to look at the other disc...otherwise I would try using a different dvd player. PS2 have a bad record (I've had 2 different one's) of having less the great quality dvd players....in fact I don't even like using PS2 for playing disc. Till next time, Delta Kiral P.S. 1. Yes, DTS. 2. My PS2's always played DVDs fine, no problemme. But GITS vol. 4 keeps skipping at ep 16 for some odd reason, unless I play it just at that ep. |

Did you examine the disc for scratches? If you don't like it doing that just take it back and say it's defective, exchanging it for another one.

It was a new disc, and has no scratches. |
||||
