Just ordered Discotek's releases of the movies from Right Stuf as well so I'll be looking forward to getting them in a week.

I'll be purchasing this game because not only is it a game I'm interested in (another fighter developed by Dimps, who worked on the DBZ Budokai series and Street Fighter IV), but also to show American distributors that there is a market for Saint Seiya.
My only question is: How come we can get a non-popular property like Saint Seiya as a download-only title, but we can't get the new One Piece RPG as one?

Maybe they're hoping Mexico and Latin America people will buy it as well.

No, in this case "North America" definitely means the USA & Canada, because Mexico & Latin America have always received Saint Seiya games in the past.

Just a guess, unless it's something from Arc System Works, fighting games tend to have A LOT let less text then your average RPG. So translating a fighting game would probably be a lot less expensive and "low risk", especially with a digital release. Though there are probably other factors too.

You mean you haven't imported the European version of the original game (don't worry about NTSC vs PAL, as the game is playable on American HDTV's)?
Anyways, it looks like I need to find some more room on my PS3 hard drive for this game.

I'm a big enough man to admit when I'm wrong. And I was wrong. It looks like they are going to bring "Saint Seiya:Brave Soldiers" to America. I'm now going to eat by fair share of crow over this one. I thought that it wouldn't happen. I'm surprised that it is. Will it sell well? I don't know. But soon,I'm probably going to see pigs flying now.

Not quite sure if i'm happy with this news or not. While I do like the fact that by releasing a Saint Seiya game in North America does in this case include the U.S. and Canada for most likely the 1st time and not just North America for just Mexico and Latin America only again, but ugh always with the digital download only.
Of course i'll still try to buy it, but i'm always running pretty low on HDD space.

I suspect Nintendo is to blame. XSEED had a hard time launching Unchained Blades on 3DS eShop compared to PSN qnd if Nintendo pulls teeth to get retail titles on eShop I can see some pubs just not bothering . If only Namco Bandai EU had localized the PSP version of Romance Dawn as well ...

for Saint Seiya fans. This is good news, but i don't see many Saint Seiya fans in US since we have different taste in anime than most of the world.
