All the reports I've seen say its a remake of the original. Which would be AMAZING.

my hope is that this will be either a new TV or OVA series that follows the Heaven's Feel path. It's the only one that has not been animated yet and in tone is right up ufotables alley(has a similar theme and tone similar to Kara No Kyoukai which they did a incredible job with)
If it does happen to be a remake or something that will also be good. The first TV series was crap after about the halfway point because it started adding all kinds of stuff that didn't need to be there considering it was supposed to be just the Fate path. The movie did a few things better but still crammed way to much into the run time of a movie. ufotable did a great job with Fate/Zero so if they have the same quality going into whatever this new project will be I can't wait. I really hope its heavens feel and not something else. its the only arc not to be animated.
then they can work on whatever they want. Fate Hollow for all i care. I hope they can animate part where shirou and saber re-unite centuries later <3 |

I think best case scenario would be to split it up into 2 seasons with 50 episodes and animate all 3 routes. They won't be able to just jump straight to Heavens Feel since Ufotable never animated the earlier stuff, so it would be too jarring of a difference (especially since Deens adaptions of the earlier routes weren't very good). |
