No idea what this movie is going to be about. Still looking forward to it.
Does anybody know if you have to specifically see the first two movies to watch this? I have the series blurays, and never saw the movies in theaters (too far, and it would be a compilation anyway). Are there any deviations from the series version that would make it required to watch them to see the upcoming third movie?

No, there's no need to see the movies. The movies made some minor changes, mostly taking things out, but they did not make any substantial changes to the story.

Hopefully this one gets a wider theatrical release. Nebraska never did get one for the first two...can't really afford to drive out to Kansas to spend 50+ dollars on movies. Also, why are the subtitles merged with the comments .And I wish NicoNico would get a REAL fullscreen mode already

First anime preview I've seen with ENG subs. Why can't they all be like this? lol
Way excited for this movie. I was gunna go see the first two in theaters but when I heard about an original 3rd movie, I decided I'll wait for this one instead. I hope it plays in all the same theaters the first two did Looks very interesting and the animation looks as perfect as the TV series. Can't wait to see Homura in action again with her M60! Best magical girl IMO

I'm pretty sure this will be an original story. Otherwise, of course I'm looking forward to this.

This better come to US theaters this fall/winter. I saw the first 2 and it was awesome. I'm now barely able to stand waiting for this new movie.

We know its an original story. The entire TV series was covered in the first two movies, the PV has nothing in it that all resembles any other official works. NO official work thus far has covered the Post-Madokami universe. At All.

I saw this when it was still a dodgy camrip, but being able to view it properly is amazing.
I am so excited for this film.
But why does Sayaka have to be in here? It better be a flashback :T

Has Aniplex given any indication that they will release the movies in America yet?
Edit: on blu ray; not just a theatrical release

At least you guys in America had cinematic showings of the first 2. In the UK, we didn't get any - although there is talk of MangaUK doing a showing of all 3 when this one comes out.
Interesting to see Hitomi mentioned in the trailer suffer, suffer and suffer some more for what you did to Sayaka! Mwahahahahahaha!
I can't wait to see this movie!

And what exactly was that? Giving Sayaka plenty of notice before making her move? Sayaka was done in by Sayaka, not Hitomi.

Chances are the japanese release will have subtitles, so maybe an import again. About 10000 yen.

Yes, Hitomi's not perfect, but she went well out of her way to not step on Sayaka's toes.
I can totally see Kyouko holding a grudge, but Kyouko's not the most logical person in the universe.

Couldn't care less about the previous 2 movies. This is the one we have waited for!
Hopefully Aniplex US can get this out on BD sometime next year, since Japan will probably have it on BD next summer.
