Crud, Devil Lady was great (though Ran was a pretty evil villain)

Bloody'ell! Not another one! It's getting so that one will need to fill out a risk assessment before performing any voice acting. My prays go out to her and her surviving family and friends as well. I hope Father has a good supply of candles for me to light next Sunday.

Well, that's three in the industry. Let's hope that's it for now...

I'm not familiar with her roles (or most seiyuu for that matter) though her family and friends have my condolences.

Aw man this hits close to home. I was a huge fan of Devil Lady. I've been wanting to watch that series again at some point. RIP. I give my condolences to the family and friends.

Sad to hear that she passed away and from breast cancer. My wife's room mate died from the same cancer. Nasty damn way to go. My condolences to her family and friends.

And I was expecting another awesome role together with Junko Iwao once again. Prayers to families and those work through her career.

R.I.P
And remember, people (well, women), you should get tested on a regular basis (and don't wait till you're 60...), especially if you have a specific family history.

Probably not for a very long time. We can help to prevent, postpone, and treat, but an outright cure and eradication? I doubt it. You'd also have to eliminate all carcinogens from the environment and all forms of remotely harmful radiation, like the sun. It's nice to be hopeful and positive, but thems the breaks.
Still, RIP.

43 is way too young to leave this world. Her death hits a bit close to home since I'll be 43 in a little over 2 months.

Yokohama is no where near that area. There can be any number of causes of any cancer.
