Sure it's cute, but I'd be surprised if it had any worthwhile content in it. Will the movie focus on doing mundane chores over and over again in an effort to repay a raccoon who is obviously a mob boss? |

Wow. They somehow actually managed to create some art that's actually cuter than the game.
It does nice job of copying the style of the game, too. HOpefully the movie will be good. |

Just so you know: He's a tanuki (there's a difference), hence "Tanukichi", his name in the Japanese versions. As for the movie itself, it would be silly to think that it would be a literal interpretation of the actual game. |

Well Nintendo awhile said it was going to into the movie business. Since Animal Crossing is insanely popular look at the Japanese game charts it is logical it would be the one they would do first.
The DS rules Japan!!! Lots of Japan only DS games are getting released in the US later this year. Cooking Mama for the win!!! |
