The article mentions there will be two anime discs bundled with the books, but I wonder how many episodes that will be?

So it will be a new storyline instead of alining with the QB Universe?
It sounds interesting, though it will leave a lot of fans of QB season 1 and two as well as fans of QB Rebellion dissapointed.
hopefully this series will be as successful as the previous two so it can hopefully get a US release. Though what company will license it is way beyond me now that Media Blasters has also gone six feet under.

Most interesting thing here is that its not ARMs... and with ARMs recent stuff like the Demon King show next season, maybe they're trying to get away from the fanservice shows.

I'm an Airi fan too, but I don't like the premise of this.
Quote: | The illustrated short stories in the 2011 book depict the defeats in battle of various Queen's Blade characters. |
That seems like a twisted foundation to build a series on.

Media Blasters isn't down and out yet, they could still try to license it.

Highly unlikely. Sentai has taken over the QB franchise (they've licensed QB: Rebellion) so if anyone gets this, it would be them.

I'm certainly interested. I had pretty much lost interest in fan service shows until I watched the first QB. Not having some lame male lead seemed to be the difference that got me back into fan service shows.

Judging from the wording in the article I'm guessing there'll only be two to four episodes of this tops just like the last time new anime was included with an artbook.
If that's the case I highly doubt it'll be licensed outside of Japan.

The book is pretty twisted, even by the standards of the franchise. It changed how I look at Queen's Blade for the worse. I've got no problem with stories being perverted, but a lot of the scenarios in the book are gleefully cruel to well-established characters, and that doesn't sit well with me.
I'm also curious as to how they're going to adapt this into an anime, since individual scenarios don't even fill up a page. Plus, a few of them would probably look like hentai if they were drawn, instead of just implied in writing. More so than the other anime adaptations, anyways...

This book is pretty much outright pornographic, surprised they're animating it, honestly.

You could be right, but perhaps there is also a possibility they might be added onto a future QB full season release, like Rebellion, as extras, the way OVAs sometimes get added on.

rofl, more like that's why they're animating it.
I don't like that it's not continuation to the series. But as long as the fanservice lives up to par, I'll be fine.
