 Hello! Does anyone know what is happening with the release of the final volumn(s) of X/1999? I would really like to see if/how the manga differs from the anime (series & movie). And does anyone know if there are more volumns of Legal Drug comming? P.S. Tell me anything is by CLAMP and I'm just begging to buy it.

X/1999 isn't finished - it's still being produced by CLAMP. I think the same is true for Legal Drug, hence the long wait on the final volume.

Thanks for the reply. The one reason why I was asking is that the first volumn of X/1999 was published in July 1996 and the last volumn available was published in April 2005. It just seems just a little long for one series to be released.

Basically, X/1999 is on hiatus and I think expectations are rather low that CLAMP will ever actually finish it. There are various rumors about why this is (such as the rest being too graphic) but I really don't believe them much.
If you want to see an ending to X, pretty much you either watch the movie or the TV series, because the manga could very likely never get one. |

Actually both X/1999 & Legal drug are on hiatus.
If I remember correctly, it has something to do with a dispute between CLAMP and their publisher (Asuka??). (Anyone know for sure if this was the case or is this just rumor?) [Edit for grammar.] |
