Anime is starting to appear at the top of the lists? And it also happens to be ADV who churns out more anime than any other company? That's all I see when I walk into Best Buy is ADV Films. When are these other companies going to start releasing more anime titles and start actually competing with ADV Films.

It's an anime chart.

I'd be very worried if an anime didn't top the chart.

But Samurai Champloo is from Geneon, not ADV. Sad to say, ADV didn't have anything in the top 10.

1 - Samurai Champloo V.6
2 - Samurai Champloo V.7
3- Full Metal Alchemist V.7
4 - Inuyasha Movie 3
5 - Princess Mononoke
6 - Spirited Away
7 - Dragonball Z 0 Bio Broly
8 - God Save Our King (KYO KARA MAOH) V.5
9 - Girls Bravo V.4
10 - Full Metal Alchemist V.6

Good deal as the last 6 eps are the best IMHO. Well 7 if you don't want to wait around for a two parter.

Picayune pet peeve time:

"Nielsen" has a second E in the second syllable, not an O.

It's a common typo.

Well Elegy of Engagement part 1 being the last episode on Volume 5 probably drove a ton of sales for Volume 6. It is far and away one of the best episodes in the series and my favorite, so you almost have to buy Volume 6 just to finish it. Of course, Volume 7 has the last three episodes, which are good in their own right.
