You and me both. I've been anxiously awaiting a release date announcement ever since the licensing announcement and I hope they get us out of the dark soon.

Probably in the minority, but waiting for the Samurai Pizza Cats subbed set(s). It's one of those shows that I NEVER thought I would see localized and uncut/subbed!

The April release will probably be the Japanese version of Samurai Pizza Cats. The title will be Legendary Ninja Cats. It will be all 54 episodes in one set. We're working on the logo and front cover now. Expect Lupin the 3rd Green VS Red to come out in May and possibly another title not yet announced. The English dubbed Samurai Pizza Cats will be in 2013 in one box set but exact date is undecided. Love Com will probably be June or July. Captain Harlock we're looking at June or July also. Saint Seiya movies will also be in the summer.

Lupin the 3rd: The Mystery of Mamo
Quote:
The world's most wanted master thief, Lupin the Third is dead! Despite a coroner's report, Interpol Inspector Zenigata is skeptical and discovers that Lupin is actually alive and well and stealing! But who had set up Lupin's death and why? For now, questions are set aside, as Lupin, Jigen and Goemon immediately embark to Egypt to pilfer a stone artifact from a pyramid, with Zenigata in hot pursuit. Fujiko, lured by the promise of eternal youth and beauty by the sinister and enigmatic scientist known as Mamo, doublecrosses Lupin and steals the stone.

Mad Bull 34: The Complete Series
Quote:
America - land of freedom. But on its dark streets prowl those who abuse its freedoms, and nowhere is as crime-ridden as New York City. It is the job of the New York Police Department to protect society from the evil on its streets, and this is the tale of New York's finest cops, serving in its toughest district - the 34th Precinct. Into this melting pot of crime and corruption comes a raw young recruit named Diazaburo. His new partner is one of the most notorious cops on the force - known to co-workers as Mad Bull, due to his ultra-violent form of peace keeping!

So much for "pearls before swine". Now Discotek gives us one of each.

I have a DVD I picked up of Ebay which has a VHS rip of all 4 episodes of Mad Bull 34 dubbed in English. As much as I sometimes enjoy bad anime I have found this one hard to watch on my own, but it can be fun watching in a group (at a bad anime panel, for example). If it comes with both languages I will probably pick it up though. Lupin III: The Secret of Mamo will be a definite buy.

How exactly? The original show had a different name and from what I have read, it's pretty much close to that name so it works plus it avoids confusion for the people who only want to buy the dub set.

Oh man, can't wait for Mad Bull 34! It seems odd that everyone is psyched for the release of what is considered to be a very bad anime, I feel like we're all supposed to be excited for releases of only good shows. But I'm sure as hell buying this!

Since I'm into Tatsunoko, I'll probably get Polymar. And I like 80s and 90s mecha, so I'll probably get Shin vs Neo. I still need to get green jacket Lupin series, Mamo will wait.
