Folks, this is proof that dreams do come true.
Awesome pickup. Discotek didn't pull their punches on their earlier hint, that's for sure.

First the original first season, then First Contact and now this. Guess I'll be pillaging more Lupin III from Discotek.

Yeah! Exactly what I was hoping was next!
Can't wait to watch this again :3 It was such a different experience to Lupin at the time (but now we've had Fujiko to make an even crazier one).
Thank you, Discotek!

One Lupin title I will not be purchasing, I'm not a fan of the sort of legacy feel they tried to give Lupin in the movie, he's not Batman. But hey, happy for the fans who will buy it, hope Discotek continues to bring the Lupin.

I heard from some that this is a weaker Lupin special, but I'm a Lupin nerd, so I'll buy it to give Discotek some love anyway.

Prepare to be disappointed!
Great climactic showdown, though.
At least there's more Lupin III coming here. I just wish they would have chosen a better feature.

Is it naive of me to hope they commission OkraTron 5000 for a dub so they can get Sonny Strait as Green Lupin (or whoever they plan to use for the Fujiko Mine series if he is not) and Tony Oliver as Red Lupin?

Ugh. Sonny Strait's Lupin. It's awful.
Discotek doesn't comission new dubs, the ones they put on discs already exist.

On an online store...? As much as I love consistency, I don't see how multiple companies getting Lupin titles could be a bad thing in itself (unless you want a specific company licensing Lupin titles for specific reasons).

He did as good of a job as Lupin as did with Krillin & Ussop. He might even be casted as Lupin for the Woman Called Fujiko series if Funimation will dub it eventually.

If you think Strait was a good Lupin, I have a hard time believing you understand the character.
There's no "cool" to the performance. No snark. Just very gooberish. He makes Lupin seem like nerd.

FUNimation is dubbing it.
Considering they haven't been against recasting now that they have a larger talent pool, we'll just have to wait and see :< I didn't have too many problems with him either, but his voice wouldn't cover the more serious tone set in Fujiko.
