Excellent review, always looking forward to Carl's writing these days Cool

This is actually one of the highlights for the Spring Season for me although falls behind Sankarea just a little bit. Yup, it makes my Tuesdays a fun one with that alpha crew action and all those guns shooting out bullets.

~Koko is indeed loco

Man Carl is awesome! He reviewed this without being one of those people that just look at the violence or the fact their is a teenager soldier and dismisses this as pure crap. The show looks good, has good action sequences, interesting leads, and is unpredictable. The only shows I'm interested in watching this seasons "Dusk Maiden", Sankarea, and Jormungand!

This is dirty, nasty stuff. The main characters are killers who make their living spreading chaos and death across the world. Their customers are no better, and their enemies no worse. The series trusts us to root for them, not because we agree with them or even like them, but simply because they're the main characters.

When you have a series where nobody is the true protagonist, I think that's what helps make a show like this less discouraging and more fun, its primary purpose, the kind you watch for simple time-killing popcorn entertainment and enjoy it just for the over-the-top action (and perhaps even the Yuri element from one of the characters).

'Her name is Koko, she is loco, I was saying "Oh no!"'
Anyone else find this ending tune catchy, as brief as it is?

The art style reminds me of Hellsing so much. Is it just me that I think that?

I've never heard of this show its odd that no one has come under and swept this show up to release it here in the future.

I wish the animation were better in this show. If you come expecting Black Lagoon quality action animation, you might be a bit disappointed.

I believe Funimation has simulcast rights at least, sounds like we may have a good possibility of a release license from them in the future as well.

Why are people praising this show so much? It's not even that good. Standards really have fallen.

People praise this show because its content is one of the rarest in anime. (Nothing can be really unique any more since there are almost 15 000 anime titles produced since 1950s already, but this one is very rare.)

Sounds as if this show should be required viewing for all Team Fortress 2 players. From what I've seen, game tourneys are heavy on psychotic mayhem and way short on teamwork. Ever see a real SWAT team in action? Ever watch a TF2 play video on YouTube? I rest my case. Imagine the terror of the opposing side in TF2, if they suddenly find themselves facing a team as well trained and disciplined as a real SWAT team. No one else in TF2 could beat them, since everyone basically plays as 'shoot at anything that isn't your color' mayhem style. Yep. Jormungand should be required training for TF2. 'nuf sed.
