Personally I would love to see any of these shows make it on air.
Although Gurren Lagann did air on SyFy a while back, so I don't how that affects its chances of getting on Toonami.

Some of these shows would never be aired on Toonami like Haruhi and Shugo Chara, even if I'd like them to give those types of shows a chance. Personally out of all of the shows here, I think Fairy Tail has the best chance. It would be in Funis best interest to build it as a brand in America, since its got a lot of merchandising potential down the line like with games and other stuff that can be brought over here.

Disappointed with no Baccano. And Shugo Chara isn't even licensed (though every survey that FUNimation puts out I remind them that it would be a really good seller).

Honestly I think Shugo Chara is a bit too young for a timeslot that's midnight to 6 am but I can see Fairy Tale, Darker than Black, and Tiger and Bunny working quite well (Steins;Gate would probably fit well too now that I think about it).

After the terrible ratings Drrr got, I'm sure they won't touch Baccano with a 10 foot pole (even though I agree it would do better)

My thoughts exactly. It seems to me that shows like these (never mind K-ON as some have suggested) would capture near zero of the demographic for [as]. I confess though that I'm working off assumptions, but these shows have always seemed like hopeless suggestions to me.

This is a good list. Im glad that everything is within this decade pretty much. We need the new shows to show people that anime is still good and creative and not cling to the older shows all the time

The only place I'd put the Tsubasa anime would be either a trash can, or a segment on how not to do a manga adaptation.

I wouldn't hold my breath for any Gundam. Bandai Entertainment doesn't do DVDs anymore, so how can they profit from a TV run?

No, just no at Haruhi. The minute they put Endless Eight on, I'll change the channel.
Also Toonami was an action block, so if it doesn't have action, not going to air. They did air a few things that didn't have action like Hamtaro, but I don't think they did well.

Interesting list. but since at the end of the day Toonami was more or less intended as an action block: Fairy Tail, Darker Than Black and Tiger & Bunny are the most probable on the list(though with the cast announcments just coming out T&B probably won't be airing till fall or the end of the year.
Of course since they do have experience with those kinds of shows Eden of the East or something like it is certainly possible.
All in all the 26th should be interesting.

Good list!Fairy Tail,Darker than Black,Tiger and Bunny and Tsubasa would do great,I think.Doubt anybody not into anime would watch Haruhi as it is a parody of otaku culture. As for the female audiences I think Vampire knight would be hit.

I think Haruhi could work on Toonami, they'd just have to reduce the Endless Eight down to 3 episodes. First 2 and the last 1 would work.
Anyways, interesting list and including something that isn't exactly action oriented can be done. I can't say what exactly, but there are good enough anime out there of a non-actiony capacity that could work.

Uh, Panty and Stocking? I don't even know how you came up with Haruhi and Shugo Chara over PSG (though I haven't seen SC, so I can't say much).
