Jeez, that last part w/ the horse was a lot more brutal than in the original show...

I see Berserk has now received a full digital upgrade. And I like it. I wonder who is going to pick this up for release in North America? I can't wait to buy it again. Especially on blu-ray.

Too much computer animation for my taste. It sort of looks like a video game--Valkyria Chronicles in particular. Hopefully the story still shines through though, cause I've been really excited to see what they do with Berserk next.

Looks pretty cool, though I can't say I'm too fond of all that CGI they're using.

Not what I expected, I was pleasantly surprised. Looks good, reminded me of the Berserk magic I once felt. The manga is really outstanding, but Miura's pacing was so horrid I gave up on it years ago because I can't stand waiting 6 months+ between chapters. Hopefully he'll finish it soon and I'll be able to finish the last leg because Berserk is arguably the best fantasy manga of all time period.

I'm not familiar with the original Berserk, but I like what I've seen so far through the promo videos. The producers don't seem to be holding back, as far as grittiness is concerned, when animating the battle sequences. I'm hoping these films get picked up for a North American release, complete with Blu-ray and English dub treatments.
The ending theme's catchy enough that I can't seem to get it out of my head.
