Holy cow, that's pretty amazing, wonder if TokyoPop realized if they would be just printing money if they had rereleased this series....

Holy cow, this is good. Toei, are you reading this, is that enough to give a OK for Sailor Moon to go back to the US?

I remember RightStuf had that manga sale where Sailor Moon was on pre-order, I think that helped too.

It's great that some manga still manage to sell by the thousands. This reminds me of the Trigun manga madness (when it initially became available in the U.S.). BTW, Kodansha is really doing great things out there in the U.S. manga market. I hope more manga they sell will become massive hits.

Just really awesome news. I hope it continues to sell this well for them down the road. I picked up my copy (along with Codename V) a couple days ago, and I know I'm really enjoying them .

Yeah, wouldn't it be nice if Kodansha e-mailed Toei with this good news. Hell, if I had their address I'd e-mail them myself.

So WIPO lied with its report.
There's a surprise.
Though, it's always nice to see articles like this showing the industry isn't as bad as some think it is.

That's awesome! I can't wait to tell my mom. Then I can prove to her that I'm not the only teenaged/adult fan who still loves Sailor Moon

I still need to buy mine. I had better purchase it before it goes out of stock again.
Man, I never thought I'd be so happy to hear such news. Hooray, Sailor Moon! <3

Hope Sailor V sold good as well. Glad to see SM doing well and still have the power after all this time. Maybe there can be a magical girl revival in general.

That's great to hear! I'm so thrilled! Anime re-license dosen't seem so far off. OR possibly, remake? On the same level of"Kai" pehaps? Come on, Toei! You know you're just sitting on a goldmine here!
