Here's some of the anime titles I think are "hot" at the moment.

Naruto
Samurai Champloo
Paranoia Agent
Bleach
Otogizoushi
Peacemaker
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex
Gantz

Most things that are "hot" are just hyped up.

Very true. Your avatar isn't Lil' Romeo is it J-Syxx?

Anything hot is on adult swim because some people are too poor to buy dvd's.

If one were to go by sheer fandom momentum and coverage in anime magazines both Japanese and American, Fullmetal Alchemist is apparently the most important anime in the HISTORY OF EVER.

Yep. FMA is Force= Mass x Acceleration. Sorry, I'm taking physics right now.

Gundam Seed is also very hot or "hawt" as I like to call it. Everytime a pick up a Newtype (overrated) magazine, G.S. is always on the top of whatever top ten list they have.

Sorry, old chap. Never heard of the Leaders of the New School. Too be honest, your avatar looked more like a hat when I first saw it.

Astute observation, but the handle dude123 kinda gives it away. You're not the same Pepperidge of Sonic board fame are you?

Check them out. They're one of the greatest hip hop groups of all time. They should be more well known than they are. Busta Rhymes originated from the crew. However, the media never mentions them anymore even though I don't think Busta has been able to produce anything on the same level since.

They only have two albums, but they are seriously my 2 favorite albums of all time. Theres not much on a biography on the group on the net, but I'll run it down for you. Busta Rhymes and Charlie Brown first met eachother as b-boy arch-rivals of oposing break dancing crews when they youngsters in Uniondale, New York. Eventually, the rivalry transformed into a freindship and they started rhyming together. Sometime in the late 80's they entered an MCing contest held by Public Enemy as a duo. They won the contest and Public Enemy liked them so much they took them under their wing. Eventually freind Dinco D. and Busta's cousin, Cut Monitor Milo aka Milo in de Dance, were added to the group and they became the Leaders of the New School. They got singed to Elektra in 90' or so and started work on their first highly experimental and influential album A Future Without a Past. They also released the equally experimental but also slept on T.I.M.E. in 93'. Around 95' or so they broke up because of in-fighting and label problems, and you probably know what happened to Busta Rhymes after that with his solo career. The other members unfortuantely have been kinda under the radar since, although Dinco is working on a new solo album.

Ya I remember them from the Busta Rhymes behind the music. They don't even show behind the music anymore what the hell! Why did they cancel it, it was the only reason I would watch T.V.
