haha, i love the kanon cameo in air 2 =P
great episode. i love the animation, it makes everything flow very well. it seems very movie like, which i like. i wonder how the movie animation will look like =P this is a great show, and i might be calling it TOO early, but i think it could potentially be the best anime drama this year =P |

I've finished episode 3.
I'm starting to get goosebumps with all of this insanely high animation. I mean the plainfields, the moving fan, the night sky, the blowing hair, and so on are so fluid. More funny moments as well especially spoiler[Yukito saying "Nyaa!"] It seems like some subplots are being introduced like the search of the angel-winged girl in the air and the mysteriousness of Kano and Misuzu. And we end this episode where spoiler[Yukito is getting choked by Kano] |

hahah, the moving fan was just some cheap 3D man =P
but yea, the animation is off the chart. i hope they keep it like that for all 12 eps. =P |

This is a really good show. And commenting on the animation seems like beating a dead dog. While it is superb its not the sole reason why I dig this show, all of the characters are amusing in one way or another, great sense of humor, and so far an interesting plot. I still can't wait for more light to be shed on Kano and Misuzu. Does anyone have any ideas on what they think might happen?

I like AIR very much, partly because of the animation, but mainly because it has such a great storyline.
This series and Ah! My Goddess will be my two most favorite series of this season (or this year) |

I don't think there's any Kanon characters guesting in AIR, well sort of.
The three girls are played by the same VA that played Ayu, Matoko and Nayuki, but they only have a superficial resemblance to those characters, and are not named at all. The original character designer is Itaru Higami, who also did the original character design for Kanon, hence the similarity. JBV^_^ |

Well, it really has no place in the Kanon storyline, if that's what you're implying that people thought that those were the real Kanon characters. Ayu would've been spoiler[in a coma already.] It was merely a tribute to Kanon =P |

The production team must have assumed that most AIR audience have seen Kanon. Well, that's quite true. However, in my opinion AIR is "anti-Kanon" in several ways: AIR : Kanon Seaside : Mountainous forest Hot summer : Cold winter Lead male has a face and a name : Lead male has no face or name (in game) There's also an anthology drawn by Rei IZUMI collecting characters from both Kanon and AIR. The name is Kanon & Air スカイ (Sky). |

I love how some Anime are mysterious, and as you watch more episodes, you slowly start to peel away the layers. Those are my favorite kind, and AIR deffinatley is one of these. I'm liking the build up alot, and am looking forward to seeing more.
I've also been introduced into my new all time favorite Anime pet - Potato (Piko Pikori?). He's not a "manly" dog, but looks all cudly and cute like the Snuggle bear! |

Just watched episode 4 and it was great, looks like next week's episode is gonna focus a bit more on Minagi and Michiru, which makes sense as the Kano storyline seems to be finished up, anyway...anyone else have any thoughts on the episode?
