The file-sharing kind of pales in comparison to the child porn charges. Scumbag deserves everything he gets and more, that's for sure.

Um, I know that this is an Anime News site, but why the heck is the child porn on the bottom of the story? That's a few times more important than the manga.

Because that happened in the past so its not really news, they were just reflecting on it as one of his past crimes.

Yes, but with the copyright law violation, you can bet they'll be staying in jail.
Had it been the porn charges alone, they'd be on the street in 24 hours.

Oh come on, CP charges pretty much ruins your life forever. The additional charges is just blatant overkill.
