So I want to find anime that features girls in mech-suites. Think like Sky Girls or Triggerheart Exelica. The problem is I'm not sure how this is classified other than just Mecha? I don't really want shows about huge robots but need to know how I could easily go about separating the two when trying to look things up via this sites encyclopedia?
I tried looking up Sky Girls as an example but it's only tags were Mecha, Lolicon, and Military. None of those terms really help me out. |

You're probably thinking of mecha musume. It doesn't seem to be used for anything at ANN except Strike Witches.

You just made my life that much better! I've been a huge fan of Mecha Musume for like 10+ years and never knew what it was called. Guess it doesn't help me much with this sites search engine though.lol |

Not that I've bothered to watch this show, but doesn't Infinite Stratos fall under that sub-genre (which Sentai Filmworks simulcasted this past winter and is now on the anime network website)?

^^^funny you mentioned that, I just found Infinite Stratos on a blog after googling Mecha Musume. Hope I come across a few more to check out.
