I agree, that's the sweetest thing I've ever heard of, especially since anime is not cheap to make in Japan, I'll watch it legally too, I want to see the story that came from his wife's hometown. |

Even if this anime turned out terrible, you know there was some thought behind this anime other than "what size breasts should we put on this 13 year old"? I really respect the notion of having SOME sort of emotion behind your anime.

An educational anime about regional foklore, in a country with a rich tradition of folklore, has got to be interesting. Whether or not it's perfect doesn't really matter, either. Sometimes the intent and emotions behind a project can be just as important as the project itself. Considering the circumstances, I'm sure he'll make it the best series he can.
