A young puppeteer who came from an island nation in the far east. He transferred in as a sophomore of the academy. He placed 1235th out of 1236 students during his first academic exam, so Professor Kimberly named him “Second Last”. Although he was born to the Akabane Clan, a renowned family of puppeteers, he has very little experience as a puppeteer, and uses a very unique fighting style combining magic and martial arts to compensate.

Magic Circuit: Kongouriki

Raishin's automaton. She's one of Karyuusai Brand's greatest automatons, the “Moon” in their Setsugetsuka Series, and she's worth enough to buy a warship. She loves Raishin too much, and gets extremely jealous when he's with other women and often loses control. Using her magic circuit, Kongouriki, she converts the monad in her personal territory into a super-hard material and raises her physical strength several thousand times, granting her both huge offensive and defensive power. Her favorite food is anmitsu.

She's a sophomore like Raishin. She's a blonde-haired blue-eyed beauty at first glance, but she's a talented young girl who's placed her name amongst Walpurgis Night's top rankers, the Magi of round. Her nickname is Charl. She manipulates a dragon-form automaton, Sigmund. She was the daughter of an Earl, but she's been disowned for certain reasons. Her breasts are unfortunately faked with padding.

“Hmm, you humans are so vexing.”

He's Charl's automaton, and has the form of a four-winged dragon. Normally he's small enough to fit under Charl's hat or on her shoulder, but he grows in since when she pours magic into him. His magic circuit, Gram, possesses the powerful ability to annihilate any material it cuts. His favorite food is chicken.

She's a third year student whose unique traits are her pearl white hair and her crimson eyes. She has an ample bosom belying her delicate frame. She's plotting Raishin's assassination for certain reasons, but she's kind at heart and she often fails due to her clumsiness. She manipulates Raby, one the Gram series automatons developed by D-Works. She's Loki's older sister.

Magic Circuit: Sonic

He's Frey's automaton, and he has the form of a dog. He's fluffy.

He's a sophomore with pearl white hair and crimson eyes. He manipulates Cherubim, an automaton produced by D-Works. He's one of the Magi of round,, and other students call him “Sword Emperor” with respect. He's Frey's younger brother.

Magic Circuit: Unknown

The automaton manipulated by Loki. It possesses scant autonomy, so manipulation is difficult. It attacks with the twin blades on its forearms and excels at combat.

“Do you understand where you stand, Samurai Boy?”

She specializes in machinart physics as a professor at Walpurgis Royal Machinart Academy, and she's in charge of Raishin. She researches the fundamental theories behind magic items, magic circuits. She quickly climbed her way to professor in this meritocratic academy. Apparently she considers herself an elite mage.

“Hey, boy. Be mine.”

The woman who lent Yaya to Raishin. She's the greatest puppeteer of the current age and the one who produced Yaya and the rest of the Setsugetsuka Series. She's a sexy woman who wears her kimono open around her large breasts, and she's famous for her indulgences in wine and women.

“I'm not being a bother to you, am I, Raishin-dono?”
Magic Circuit: Himokagami

She's one of Karyuusai Brand's greatest automatons, the “Snow” in their Setsugetsuka Series. Her magic circuit Himokagami steals heat from around the target, creating a huge pillar of ice and freezing the very air. She's the greatest of her sisters in simple offensive power and area control. She's Yaya's older sister, and she often scolds her.

“No one will find out if we do anything dirty here right now!”
Magic Circuit: Yaegasumi

She's one of Karyuusai Brand's greatest automatons, the “Flower” in their Setsugetsuka Series. Her magic circuit, Yaegasumi posses the ability to shut off the targets sight, sound, and scent. She's Yaya's little sister and she calls Irori “Onee-sama”. She's bright, freewheeling, and very friendly.
