| i heard that this was a good movie, and just based on that info, i watched it, and i was not disappointed, i loved the somber mood of the whole movie, and i enjoyed the relationship of Takaki and Akari, and how the distance strained it, i could maybe relate to Takaki of how he didn't really want to let go, and it didn't quite ruin his life, he hasn't enjoyed it as much as he could have, where as Akari has gone on further in her life, but still reminisces, very good movie

| i'll admit, i was a bit skeptical of an anime based on a band, with a bunch of performing, but the music was actually half decent, so i didn't mind, but another thing that was interesting and sometimes annoying was the usage of english, never before have i seen this much english in an anime, but anyways, the main character seems pathetic, but does have some redeemable qualities, so he's not the type of character that is a total loser, which pisses me off sometimes

| i thought this would be another typical harem anime, alot like "love hina" where the main character is generally a loser, but a nice guy that all the girls fall in love with, and the first few episodes didn't hinder my prediction, but it turned out to be quite different, it is more like a love story between only one boy and one girl, and the other characters only further their relationship. i liked how this seemed like a fun romantic comedy anime, but had a deeper meaning of whether perfection is truly what humans want, and how emotions can't be controlled, a much more insightful anime than i had predicted, don't miss it ~chi!

| darker than black? what a title, but don't worry, it's not over the top, as it does have its dark moments, this anime had some of the most complex characters i've ever seen, and the story is difficult to follow but good, and the action is pretty sweet, the only thing is that this anime leaves too many questions unanswered, and personally i was somewhat disappointed at the end, i wish the anime had more episodes so it could be better explained, darn budgets

| The first few scenes make it look like it's going to be a scifi movie, but don't worry, it's going to be a captivating movie with drama and romance. I enjoyed this movie alot, and even though it was not a Ghibli, it still had that kind of feel, that this was a deep story, and you would fall in love with the heroine, even though all of the voice actors are rookies, they do a decent job, and maybe even made the movie better...?

| wow, i love a good drama anime, but i have a pretty short attention span so i need some comedy or romance or action or something to spice it up, or i lose interest. this anime either lacked or had minor sprinkles of those, but i still LOVED this anime, pace seemed slow at times, but the great stories kept me stuck to the screen, even though it was episodic, each episode seemed to be so deep that each could be their own movie, i loved ginko, the main character, serious, smart, and sarcastic, just the way i like it

| another shounen anime, how can this possibly be different? i watched naruto due to the insistence of my little brother, and boy am i happy that he did, though there ends up being a record setting amount of filler episodes, before that point this anime is the bomb, i can't believe that an anime intended for kids has such an intricate story line and deep characters, this anime has it all, action? no prob, drama? it's there, comedy? by the truck loads, romance? just a hint, but its nice, watch it, it won't dissapoint ~dattebayo~

| wow...that's the first word i thought of after watching this anime, one of the most original story lines i've ever watched, this anime sucked me in, another emo kid is the main character, but he doesn't ever really break out of that mold, and it was alright this time, his supporting cast made up for what he lacked in personality, now, i'm not a sick freak that watches hentai (cuz that's sick, in my opinion) but i have to say that the main females of this anime could be the dream girls of any guy, but the ending felt like an acid trip

| i'm a guy, but i like a good romance genre anime as much as any other girl (maybe not), but i was slightly skeptical of this, my first shoujo anime, it didn't help that the OP was the most poppy happy song i've ever heard for an anime so far, but it grew on me, but the ending was one of the catchiest, each character had complex personalities, and there is comedy/romance/drama galore, the biggest turn off for me was the homo-erotic relationships that appeared to exist, though they didn't (i hope) its a good anime that nobody should miss, guy or girl
