No comedy but still an entertaining story about Shinma (vampires with magical abilities) Princess Miyu is a pyrokinetic whose job it is to send other Shinma "into the darkness." Miyu isn't a hero though, since she saves almost no one. Almost every story has a sad ending. I enjoy watching this one. |

| Dual! Parallel Trouble Adventure (TV) | Excellent | This is sort of a rip-off of Evangelion, but the story is very funny rather than serious. This is what they call a "harem anime" (eg Love Hina). Although it seems to be almost a copy Evangelion, the story kept me entertained. I was never bored with it. For me, this is a MUST HAVE for my collection. |

| FLCL (OAV) | Masterpiece | This one is hard to comment on. I have heard this described as being written by an insane genius. I consider it a masterpiece because of the hidden storyline that just keeps you scratching your head (???), but keeps you laughing while you're trying to figure out what's going on. It won't make any sense until the very end and then you'll have to watch it again to catch the pieces that didn't make sense the first time. Very funny, this is a "must have". |

| Neon Genesis Evangelion (TV) | Masterpiece | This one is truly genius. The story is very good, but this is more than just a story. It examines the characters which have great depth, very accurate and specific personalities. The actual storyline is serious and depressing, but there is still humor within. Some sexuality, but it is there to add depth to the characters. The art is great too. |
