Have no idea how to rate or describe this series. Was it good? Bad? I'm not sure. The main character is such an improbable character as are everyone around him it's hard to decide. Basically you have a 'wet works' operative for the government being given 'early' retirement into the reserves for a job well done. Did I mention the main character is around 16? Yeah. Improbable. He has asked to be given 'an ordinary life at an ordinary school' and the powers that be try to give him the closest equivalent. A 'school' with 5 other people, all girls. All with very messed up pasts. He basically 'solves' their problems one by one. I didn't really LIKE any of this but I must say the resolution of the youngest girl's problems with her mother was pretty satisfying. Overall I'd say watch the first episode. If you like it continue, if you don't quit. It gives you the correct feel right from the start. |
