If you liked the original Futakoi, Futakoi Alternative is... totally different. It's an action series first and foremost. The only similarity with the original is the twin characters. My favorite twin pair from Futakoi didn't get much screen time in the original series, but they're the main pair in Alternative. As I'm not that big on action anime, I doubt I'll finish this series. |

The concept has a lot of potential, but it seemed to be really poorly executed. It's as if the creators don't even understand the mind of the character they're portraying. He falls far out of character in every other scene, and his conspiratorial delusions are just superficial caricatures of what a true paranoid schizophrenic would experience. |

It's an anime series about baking bread. Somehow, it's actually pretty cool. I wasn't hooked enough to watch the whole thing, but I definitely tip my hat to the creators for pulling off a show with such a dumb premise. |
