Park Chanmi is a cold-looking athletics freshman who remembers her past life. In past life, she loved the beautiful girl, but couldn't confess to her because the girl was already in love with a man and her life ended early and tragically. In this life, Chanmi thinks that everything will happen again, so she wants to protect her beloved one. But now her beloved one is a teacher at the university where Chanmi is studying.

Unnie, I Like You has a story and art by Jeongussi. English localization and publication by WEBTOON.

Finally, a GL title in the K-Comics guide! Unnie, I Like You! is a light, funny romantic comedy about two very different women who share a past life as fated lovers—although now, only one of them is aware of it. “Unnie” is the Korean term used by women to address women they look up to. In this case, protagonist Chanmi has been looking up to her Unnie for centuries! Chanmi vividly remembers her torrid past life love affair with the beautiful, tragic Hanbyeol. So when she encounters a professor in Seoul who resembles her lost love and even shares the same name, Chanmi wastes no time in attentively pursuing her Unnie. The one problem: Hanbyeol, like most regular people, doesn't have any memories of a past life! Opposites attract as the young, earnest Chanmi and the flirty, flustered Hanbyeol stumble into a modern day romance.

What makes Unnie, I Like You! endearing is its light, flowy art style that matches its similarly- minded plot. Chanmi is a tall, dark, and handsome beauty who gives off the vibe of being the strong and silent type, but who becomes the undeniable aggressor in this relationship all the same. She's fantastically wealthy, so when she decides to drop out of college in Europe on a whim to fly to an art exhibition in Seoul, her affable butler can't help but make it so. (The as-of- yet unnamed butler character makes a humorous side character because he's the girls' biggest shipper in the story.) Chanmi immediately recognizes Hanbyeol from her picture and asks to get to know her, but Hanbyeol laughs off the forward girl with a flirty whisper. The tables turn quickly when Chanmi later encounters Hanbyeol knocking back a few drinks and ends up babysitting the older woman after she gets drunk. I loved the way the art got scribbly to reflect Hanbyeol's drunken state, and the way it shifts to a brushstroke style when depicting imagery from the women's past lives in ancient Korea.

The women's relationship gets even more complicated after Chanmi, who already has a high profile from her wealthy scion status, becomes one of Hanbyeol's university students. They run into their share of hijinks, but the story maintains its lighthearted romcom vibe throughout. For a cute and fluffy GL story with lots of funny reaction faces, look no further.
