Rhythm Bullet Hell 'Touhou Danmaku Kagura Phantasia Lost' Debuts on Nintendo Switch Today

TOKYO – September. 5th, 2024 – Touhou DANMAKU KAGURA Phantasia Lost, the rhythm bullet hell taking place in the Touhou universe, drops the beat on Nintendo Switch today.

Developer Unknown X invites the millions of Touhou fans to engage with the dynamic rhythm across two distinct gameplay modes. Dive into Danmaku mode for bullet hell chaos, confronting bosses which unleash bullets from every angle, in sync with the beat. Experience Kagura mode in a traditional falling-notes style, where precise timing is the key to high performance. Optionally tap notes with the freshly added touch screen support, available in the Nintendo Switch edition.

Renowned composer Toby Fox and Touhou series creator ZUN simultaneously announce they will collaborate again on a second free DLC. Unlike the track mixing in their previous partnership on “U.N. Owen Was Hero?”, this time the two industry luminaries will present two striking rearrangements of each others' tracks.
