Monster Japan Travel Guide Author to Speak on Monster Movie Locations and Landmarks

Tarzana, CA, May 23, 2013 -- Armand Vaquer, author of “The Monster Movie Fan's Guide To Japan” will give a slide presentation on visiting landmarks and locations used in Japanese monster movies at Distant Lands at 20 Raymond Ave., Pasadena, California on Monday, June 17 at 7:30 PM.

He will discuss the locations and landmarks in Japan that were demolished by Godzilla, Rodan, Gamera and others and how to reach them. He will also discuss other monster-related sites in Japan, including the Godzilla statue in the Hibiya section of Tokyo and the 9 meter tall (about 30 feet) Godzilla slide in Yokosuka.

Admission is free.
