Second Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War U.K. Collector's Blu-ray Released on Monday

On Monday April 14, Anime Limited will release the second volume of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, as both Collector's and standard Blu-ray editions. The Collector's Edition will include a 76-page booklet. The volume is described as follows:

"The blood war between Soul Reapers and Quincies has finally begun. News of the sudden attack by the Quincies reaches Ichigo, propelling him to join the battle. However, the Soul Reapers are slaughtered one after another by the invaders, led by Yhwach, the father of all Quincies. Meanwhile, Uryu uncovers the truth hidden in his grandfather's diary and comes to understand his purpose in this world. The battle enters a new phase as Yhwach names his successor, stirring controversy among his subjects. The time of separation looms in the air as darkness shrouds the Soul Society."

Crunchyroll will release the second TV season of SPY x FAMILY as a Limited Blu-ray/DVD, as well as standard Blu-ray and DVD editions. The Limited edition will contain an art book, three art cards, an acrylic standee and a pin set. Ajnime-on-Line describes it as follows:

"Yor and Twilight may keep their identities a secret from one another, but the telepathic Anya knows all! Now as they board a cruise, Yor must stop assassins from reaching their target, while Twilight figures out…What does a good dad do on vacation?"

MVM will release a Steelbook Blu-ray edition of Shinichirō Watanabe's 2004 series Samurai Champloo, including four art cards. MVM describes the story:

"Mugen's a buck wild warrior: violent, thoughtless and womanizing. Jin is a vagrant ronin: mysterious, traditional, well-mannered and very strong. These two fiercely independent warriors couldn't be more different from one another, yet their paths cross when Fuu, a ditzy waitress, saves them from being executed when they are arrested after a violent swordfight. Fuu convinces the two vagrant young men to help her find a mysterious samurai "who smells of sunflowers." And their journey begins."

Crunchyroll will release a Blu-ray of the television anime adaptation of Suu Morishita's A Sign of Affection (Yubisaki to Renren). Crunchyroll describes the anime's story:
"With these hands, I want to tell you that I love you…Yuki, a deaf college student, is struggling one day when an upperclassman from her school, Itsuomi, helps her out. Itsuomi isn't put off at all by her lack of hearing and interacts with her naturally. As he gradually opens up a new world to her, Yuki begins to develop feelings for Itsuomi... Thus begins the pure love story of Yuki, a deaf college girl, and Itsuomi, her upperclassman who travels the world with her."

Yūta Murano (Kakushigoto, Brave Beats) was in charge of storyboards, and also directed the anime at Ajia-do. Yoko Yonaiyama (Uma Yuru, Ya Boy Kongming!) oversaw and wrote the series scripts. Kasumi Sakai (Animation Director for Love Live! Sunshine!!) designed the characters, and Yukari Hashimoto (March comes in like a lion, Komi Can't Communicate, Am I Actually the Strongest?) composed the music.

Morishita launched the manga in Kodansha's Dessert magazine in July 2019. The manga was nominated for Best Shōjo Manga in the Annual Kodansha Manga Awards in 2021, 2022, and 2023.

Crunchyroll will release the first season of The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You on Blu-ray, carrying the first 12 episodes. Seven Seas Entertainment released the manga in English, and it described the story:

"Aijo Rentaro tried and tried again, but after asking a hundred girls out on a date, he was rejected every single time. In desperation, he prays for guidance...only to be told by a god that his rejections were due to some cosmic error! Now the god is going to set things right by making sure that Aijo gets one hundred dates. Except, as things often do with gods, the dates come with a catch: one hundred girls are destined to be Aijo's soulmate, and unless he returns their feelings each and every time, they'll die in horrible accidents! Sure enough, girls start confessing their love to Aijo left and right. But how is he supposed to choose?! He doesn't want to kill anyone! When he looks at each potential soulmate, it feels like a bolt of lightning. Can someone really love a hundred other people? This hilarious romantic comedy takes the harem concept to a wild extreme!"

Hikaru Sato (Drop Kick on my Devil!) directed the series at Bibury Animation Studio. Takashi Aoshima (Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!) was in charge of the series scripts. Akane Yano (Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki) designed the characters. Shuhei Mutsuki, Shunsuke Takizawa, and eba composed the music at Lantis. Nakamura and Nozawa launched the manga in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump magazine in December 2019 and it is ongoing.

MVM will release the first two seasons of the 2022 version of Urusei Yatsura, including the first 23 episodes. Anime Limited describes the series:

"Ataru Moroboshi is known for his incredibly bad luck, so when alien invaders challenge a random human to battle for the future of the Earth, guess who they pick? But to everyone's shock, unlucky Ataru inexplicably manages to defeat his beautiful, electrically charged, and bikini-clad opponent, Lum — and in the process, he mistakenly convinces her he wants her hand in marriage."

Takahiro Kamei (episode director on Strike Witches: Road to Berlin, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind) served as the series director. Masaru Yokoyama (Horimiya, Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, 2019's Fruits Basket) composed the music.

Musical artist MAISONdes performed both the opening theme song "AIUE" (A-B-C-D) and the ending theme song "Tokyo Shandy Rendezvous."

The manga series ran in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine from 1978 to 1987. Viz Media previously released part of the series in English under the titles Lum and The Return of Lum in the 1990s. The manga inspired a television anime series that ran from 1981 to 1986, various anime films, and an original video anime (OVA) series.

Crunchyroll will release the second TV season of To Your Eternity on Blu-ray. Anime-on-line described the story:

"Time passes, and the immortal Fushi can no longer run from the Nokkers nor fight them alone. An entire city joins his battle, and Fushi is forced to make painful sacrifices, unaware that losing everything will reveal the strength he had all along."

MVM will release the 25-part series Dark Gathering. Anime-on-line describes the story:

"Keitaro hates ghosts, but much to his horror, they're drawn to him like moths to a flame. After spending years as a shut-in to avoid spectral catastrophe, he finally musters the courage to rejoin society and get a part-time job as a tutor to the child prodigy Yayoi. Yayoi isn't just an academic genius, though. She's a talented psychic medium hell-bent on finding the malevolent spirit behind her mother's disappearance, and she's determined to drag ghost-magnet Keitaro into her terrifying world of grotesque supernatural phenomena."

The manga centers on Keitarō Gentōga, who has the ability to be a spirit medium. In junior high school, he got someone else wrapped up in a spirit possession incident, and he has been a shut-in for more than two years. As he reintroduces himself to society as a private tutor, he meets a genius girl named Yayoi Hōzuki. Yayoi is instantly able to tell that Keitarō has skill as a spirit medium, and she invites him to go with her to a haunted location. The two then start their journey capturing evil spirits.

Hiroshi Ikehata (FLCL Progressive, Kiratto Pri☆Chan, Space Battleship Tiramisu) directed the anime at OLM. Shigeru Murakoshi (I'm Quitting Heroing, Zombie Land Saga) oversaw the series scripts, and Shin'ya Segawa (Pastel Memories, Garakowa -Restore the World-) was the character designer. Kohta Yamamoto, Shun Narita, and Yūsuke Seo composed the music. Kondō (Cheer Danshi!! GO BREAKERS manga) launched the manga in Shueisha's Jump SQ. magazine in March 2019. Viz Media is releasing the manga in English.
